This Jamaican food truck is the real deal! If you haven't tried this place, you are really missing out! BEST Jamaican food around! I get the medium stew chicken with rice & beans & cabbage. The chicken has a nice kick to it and is falling off the bone. Paired with the rice, just balances out the flavors perfectly! The beef and chicken pattys are also a favorite of mine! BEST AROUND! I've been coming here for 5 years and the food has always remained consistent. Tastes the same way it did when I first tried it! The portions are very nice sized and you definitely get your moneys worth! They offer other things on the menu including Jamaican beef and chicken pattys, curry chicken, jerk chicken and oxtail! And other items as well! The owner is SO NICE and you can tell they put love into their cooking! It shows, as no other place around even comes close to this when it comes to flavor and authenticity! Customer for life!

I found this truck back in 2021 and it's been one of my favorites since. I love taking a hike in East Rock Park and then finishing with a large portion of jerk chicken with rice, beans and cabbage. I get it with sauce on the chicken and oxtail gravy on the rice, everything is super flavorful and fragrant. Sanny is one of the nicest people and it's part of the reason I love supporting this truck. The sauce she makes is amazing and it's so good when you mix the spicy and sweet sauces together. The portions are huge, one large portion is about three meals for me. A real gem in CT!
